Youth Outreach & Code Camps

ChaTech offers an outreach program to high schools to help foster interest in information technology careers.  Our volunteer classroom speakers are technology professionals who bring an interactive program on information technology careers.  Students participate in presenting the information on technology processes and the careers that support them.

In addition, ChaTech offers occasional coding camps to provide hands-on experience in computer programming and some exposure to basic programming theory.

From July 17 – July 21, 2017, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will host ChaTech’s 2017 Code Camp.  This program is for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.  Priority will be given to public school students and first time participants.  Click the link below to apply for the 2017 camp.
