Demo Day is an opportunity to get an inside view of emerging advancements in virtual reality, big data analytics, beacon and sensor technologies, and more. This nationally-promoted event will feature startup pitches from the entrepreneurs of GIGTANK 2015, as well as a keynote address from Robert Tercek – a global thought leader on digital media innovation and a former executive at MTV, Sony and the Oprah Winfrey Network.

The full experience will include:

• Business pitches from entrepreneurial innovators developing a variety of exponential tech applications
• A special investor pitch session, where GIGTANK startups will present the business and financial case for their concepts
• An extended pitch session, where GIGTANK startups will present a full picture of their applications to a larger audience of investors, media, partners and the general public
• A keynote address from Robert Tercek, one America’s most influential voices in new media
• VIP Reception for investors, sponsors and national media
• Opportunities to interact with major leaders in industry, entrepreneurship and technology

In past years, national guests at GIGTANK Demo Day have included Terry Wohlers, the world’s foremost authority on the additive manufacturing industry, Bob Metcalfe, the inventor of Ethernet, and leaders from Warner Borthers, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, USC Annenberg Innovation Lab, IBM and US Ignite.
