Chattlab Makerspace is celebrating its 3rd year of operation by expanding to a larger facility in the INCubator at the Hamilton County Business Development Center
Chattanooga, TN, October 17, 2019- ChattLab Makerspace, a shared workspace for makers, inventors, entrepreneurs, artists, inventors and dreamers will be celebrating it’s 3 year anniversary by relocating to a much larger facility with an additional 2,000 square feet to improve its equipment and training offerings to its membership and the public as a whole by continuing to offer low cost workshops on subjects such as welding, laser cutting, programming and other STEAM related skills. The new address change will be effective November 1st, 2019.
ChattLab Makerspace had a reboot in November, 2016 with a partnership with the Hamilton County Business Development Center’s INCubator program as an anchor tenant. The INCubator staff and facilities were key to our 400% membership growth over the past 3 years. ChattLab is pleased to continue this relationship by expanding into a larger suite in the INCubator program.
ChattLab Makerspace is is also pleased to expand our discounted offerings that we currently offer our fellow incubating businesses to all active members of the Chamber with a 10% discount on memberships to their employees.

ChattLab Makerspace is Chattanooga’s only member-supported makerspace giving Chattanooga metro residents access to high end tools and advanced manufacturing techniques with an affordable membership rate. Areas supported include (but not limited to), woodworking, metalworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, embroidery, plasma CNC, electronics and sewing. We are a registered 501(c)3 educational non-profit and have been supportive participants in every Chattanooga mini-makerfaires. ChattLab Makerspace has been a member of the Chamber since 2016.

About the INCubator
The INCubator is 127,000 square feet of startup support on Chattanooga’s NorthShore – the largest business incubator in Tennessee, and the third largest in the nation. A program of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the INCubator is located in the Hamilton County Business Development Center (BDC) in downtown Chattanooga, the urban core of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
